RETAINAGROUP are responsible for the INSTALLATION DATA HOSTING regarding the DNA TRACE ELEMENT of CHAIN REACTION DNA.
Retainagroup is a member of the BSIA, accredited to ISO 9001 – 2008 , Thatcham TQA and LPS 1224 & 1225, licensed by ACPO CPI Ltd, as providing products and services meeting Police Preferred Specification and partnered with the Home Office in the “Crime – Let’s Bring It Down” campaign. They are also members of the SMMT.
Due to our compliance with guidelines established with ACPO (The Association of Chief Police officers) the purchase will require to be fitted and the unique DNA code within the device registered by a StranDNA™ accredited installer. Therefore the purchased equipment will be sent direct to the fitter. They will arrange and book an installation date and time direct with you at a time to suit you both.
StranDNA ™ will endeavour to meet the arranged booked time subject to normal conditions.
Standard installation is Monday – Friday. You can call our service department on 08442 490140 if you have any special requirements.
Once the approved fitter has arranged a fitting date we will endeavor to adhere to approximate delivery times as stated against individual products subject to reasonable precautions.
If in the event of you failing to be at the property at the delivery / installation time, a £30:00 + VAT re-delivery/Installation charge will be incurred. Standard delivery is Monday – Friday.
The fitter will arrange and book an installation date and time direct with you at a time to suit you both. We will endeavor to meet the arranged booked time subject to normal conditions.
As the purchase requires installation at your address, we require a responsible adult of 18 years + to be at the installation address for the duration of the fitting and they will be required to sign an installation form stating that your purchase has been fitted to your satisfaction. The fitter will instruct the signatory on the safe use of the device
NB Once fitted we will make no refund if the devise has been activated or damaged through accidental, malicious activation or attempted home invasion/burglary.
NB It is the responsibility of the purchaser to establish that the devices will have sufficient clearance around the door or architrave for the safe installation of the device prior to ordering. We hope you will be highly satisfied with any product purchased on our website. However, under the Distance Selling Regulations 2000, you are entitled to cancel your order if you so wish provided you notify us in writing, including fax and email within 7 working days after the day on which you ordered the product. If you decided to exercise your right to cancel and if you have simply changed your mind we ask you make available all original packaging for the product. The device will require removal by an authorized or accredited fitter and the unique DNA code removed from the data base. We are not responsible to make good, repair any holes, marks or possible damage to any fixing point after the removal of the device.
If you wish us to collect the product, please let us know and we will notify you within 21 days with a convenient date as to when the product will be collected. Reasonable costs may be deducted from your refund as the returned goods are not re-saleable. The device will require removal by an authorized or accredited fitter and the unique DNA code removed from the data base.
We will refund the price of the product minus any deductions as soon as possible, but in any case within 30 days, once we have received and verified the returned item.
